Brendan Fraser’s INKHEART Movie Trailer (2009)
The trailer for Brendan Fraser’s new movie, INKHEART, was just released and it looks pretty good.
Inkheart is based on the book of the same name by Cornelia Funke. While I haven’t read the book, I did read the script for Inkheart about two years ago when it was still in development. I liked it enough to actually buy the book, which is a good sign, but I didn’t like the script as much as The Golden Compass, which could be a bad thing seeing how that turned out. I will say this in my defense, the reason I liked The Golden Compass script so much had a lot to do with the ending, which ended up being cut out.
Back to Inkheart, I am pretty impressed by the trailer and the cast, which in addition to Brendan Fraser includes Andy Serkis, Eliza Bennett, Paul Bettany, Sienna Guillory, Helen Mirren, Jim Broadbent.
Definitely a movie I look forward to seeing.
Synopsis: Mo has the special talent to bring characters out of books. One night he brings out three characters from Inkheart, a story set in medieval times and filled with magical beings. Capricorn and Basta, two villains, and Dustfinger, a fire-eater. Now, 10 years later Meggie discovers the truth and it’s up to her to escape Capricorn’s evil grasp. (Source: imdb.com)
