ANGELS & DEMONS First Pictures with Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor

Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks), Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer), Chartrand (Thure Lindhart) and Carlo Ventrasca (Ewan McGregor) - Angels & Demons
The first pictures from Ron Howard’s ANGELS & DEMONS have been released by USA Today.
We finally get our first look at Ewan McGregor who plays Carlo Ventresca, the faithful servant to the church during the papal conclave in Vatican City, as well as Tom Hanks who once again plays Robert Langdon (same character as in The Da Vinci Code), a Harvard expert in religious symbols who this time discovers a conspiracy to destroy the Vatican.
According to the USA Today article:
Filmmakers had hoped to shoot Angels at the Vatican and inside Roman churches. But Brown’s Angels, which includes the murder of two cardinals, was quickly shut down by the church. “This movie was strangely harder to shoot than Da Vinci Code, even though there’s less controversy,” says producer Brian Grazer. Exteriors were shot quickly in Rome, and elaborate sets were built to replicate the Vatican and other churches at Los Angeles studios.

i’ve read the book last year..and it’s very informative..brave and also sensational! I’ve been looking forward for this movie..i’ve seen The davinci code already, it’s great! though it’s not as details as the book..but it’s a breakthrough movie though..i hope Angles & daemons will be greater than the davinci code movie…
