She didn't know it was a remake. I told her in that case, she'd probably enjoy this version; but for those fans like me, who love the original for the sci-fi classic it is, the Keanu Reeves version looks like Hollywood a$$-raped the original. And since Hollywood writers can't come up with a new idea to save their lives, now they've decided to a$$-rape another sci-fi classic, one that's a wonderful childhood memory for most of us.
