ADAM Movie Pictures – Sundance 2009 In Competition
The first movie from the Sundance Film Festival 2009 that we will take a look at is ADAM.
Just the list of actors already tells me this is a movie that I am definitely interested in seeing. I started liking Rose Byrne when she was in Troy (and getting it on with Brad Pitt!). She is now also one of the star of FX’s Damages, which is coming back on the air on January 7th 2009 (you can read more about Damages on Daemon’s TV).
And of course Hugh Dancy, after loving him in Ella Enchanted, Evening, and The Jane Austen Book Club, I’m definitely leaning towards checking out his performance in Adam.
Synopsis: A strange and lyrical love story between a somewhat socially
dysfunctional young man and the woman of his dreams.
Director and Screenwriter: Max Mayer
Cast: Hugh Dancy, Rose Byrne, Peter Gallagher, Amy Irving, Frankie Faison, Mark Linn-Baker.
Adam will have its World Premiere at Sundance. And while it does not yet have a release date, I hope this changes soon.
