Keira Knightley Cast in NEVER LET ME GO
Keira Knightley has been cast in Mark Romanek’s next sci-fi movie, NEVER LET ME GO. Also starring are Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan.
Never Let me Go is based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Kazuo Ishiguro, which takes place in a boarding school where three friends grow up without contact with the outside world. Turns out (and this might be a spoiler so you might want to skip to the next paragraph) they are actually clones existing only for organ donation… wait doesn’t that sounds familiar? Maybe like the 2005 Michael Bay movie, The Island?
Never Let Me Go will be directed by Mark Romanek (“One Hour Photo”), and the screenplay will be adapted by Alex Garland (“The Beach”, “28 Days Later…”, “Sunshine”)
As for Andrew Garfield, you might have seen him in Boy A and The Other Boleyn Girl, and Carey Mulligan will be in An Education (which we just posted pictures for here).
