THE MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH Trailer

Check out the trailer for THE MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH starring Jon Foster, Peter Sarsgaard, Sienna Miller, Nick Nolte, Mena Suvari, and written & directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
The screenplay is based on the 1988 Michael Chabon’s best-selling novel.
I have liked Jon Foster (brother of Ben Foster) ever since I saw him in the TV show, Life As We Know It. And now, it seems that he’s growing as an actor in each movie he does. Keep an eye out for this one.
As for Peter Sarsgaard, well we already know I love everything he does.
I am also pretty impressed by the trailer. For a movie that I hadn’t heard of before, it sure looks really good.
The Mysteries of Pittsburgh will be released to limited theaters on March 27, 2009. Watch the trailer below.
The Mysteries of Pittsburgh Synopsis: Set in Pittsburgh in the early eighties, the story chronicles the last true summer of Art Bechstein’s (JON FOSTER) youth. Stuck in a dead-end job working for his eccentric sometime girlfriend Phlox (MENA SUVARI), and forced into an endless series of airless dinners with his mobster father (NICK NOLTE), Art begins to believe that perhaps he doesn’t even exist at all.
What begins as a mundane summer is quickly interrupted when he encounters a beautiful debutante (SIENNA MILLER) and her lusty, no good hoodlum of a boyfriend Cleveland (PETER SARSGAARD). Together they reveal a side of Art and Pittsburgh that he has never known.
As the summer boils on and their adventures darken, Art decides to risk everything to preserve his new-found paradise, and thrusts himself headlong into the blurring boundaries of family, friendship, and love.
