Mickey Rourke Cast in IRON MAN 2

Mickey Rourke has been cast in IRON MAN 2.

According to Nikki Finke, Mickey Rourke’s agent David Unger has secured a better deal for him than previously offered by Marvel, and so Mickey Rourke has finally signed on to Iron Man 2. He will be playing a Russian villain.

I know everybody has been talking about Mickey Rourke lately, but I really think that he’s a great choice for a villain.

Funny story, I was talking to my dad before the Oscars and mentioning that Mickey Rourke had been nominated a lot and won quite a few awards for his latest film. He then said “Oh yeah, I’ve always liked Mickey Rourke, he’s a great actor. It’s too bad he’s not in more movies.” I couldn’t agree more.
