This is Guillermo Arriaga’s feature film directorial debut based on his own script. He previously wrote the scripts for Babel and 21 Grams among others.
I really liked 21 Grams, Babel not so much, but I do like the style of Arriaga’s writing. So I’m interested in checking it out.
The Burning Plain will be released to theaters in September 2009. Watch the trailer below.
