Thanks to RopeofSilicon.com, we get our first look at the poster. And even though the poster doesn’t show much, it’s a pretty interesting one. Martin Scorsese is one of my favorite directors so this has been on my list for a while now.

Shutter Island will be released to theaters on October 2, 2009.
