Movies Coming Out This Weekend April 3 2009
Wondering what movies are coming out to theaters this Friday, April 3? Here is a list with our recommendations (which you can take or leave, it’s up to you).
DEFINITELY WATCH AT THE MOVIES
Adventureland
I’ve been waiting for that movie for what seems like forever, so of course it’s going to be a must watch at the movies for me.
Gigantic
A quirky independent film for which I really enjoyed the trailer. Plus with Paul Dano and Zooey Deschanel, you kind of have to check it out at the movies.
DEFINITELY RENT
Fast & Furious
This feels like a flashback doesn’t it? After three (or was it four? I lost count) sequel movies, the original cast is back at it. Did they really not have any other good movies to do? The saddest thing is I’m probably going to enjoy this movie (what can I say I like car races). But unless my friends drag me to see it this weekend, it’s going to be a rental for me. Curious to hear what the reaction to the movie will be though.
Alien Trespass
I wrote about this a little while ago and was really kind of intrigued by Alien Trespass. A 50s-type sci-fi movie, just sounds kind of fun, what can I say.
The Escapist
I saw the trailer pretty recently, and it looked like a pretty good and well-acted movie.

Sugar
While Sugar looks like a decent movie, I think the subject matter doesn’t interest me that much. But I might give it a shot when it airs on TV.
