Rob Marshall’s NINE Movie Trailer

Update: Nine has been ranked as the one of the Top 10 2009 Christmas Movies.
Check out the trailer for NINE starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Sophia Loren, Stacy Ferguson, and directed by Rob Marshall.
After getting a first look at a picture from the movie, we finally get a trailer, and it definitely looks like an interesting movie, in a good way. Having seen Fellini’s 8 1/2, on which Nine is based, I’m really curious to see how it turns out.
Nine will be released to theaters on December 18 (limited) and December 25, 2009 (nationwide). Watch the trailer below.
Nine Synopsis: Nine is a vibrant and provocative musical that follows the life of world famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he reaches a creative and personal crisis of epic proportion, while balancing the numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren). The film is directed by Rob Marshall (CHICAGO). The original 1982 Broadway production of Nine, with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, won five Tony Awards including Best Musical.
