Movies Coming Out This Weekend June 12 2009
Wondering what movies are coming out to theaters this Friday, June 12, 2009? Here is a list with our recommendations (which you can take or leave, it’s up to you).

DEFINITELY WATCH AT THE MOVIES
Moon
If you have read my review for Moon, then you know that this is an absolute must-see for me.

Moon Synopsis: Moon follows Sam Bell, an astronaut assigned by Lunar Industries to a three-year mission mining Helium 3 on the moon, the earth’s new energy source. As his contract comes to an end and Sam’s health starts to deteriorate, painful headaches, hallucinations and a lack of focus lead to an almost fatal accident. While recuperating, Sam meets a younger, angrier version of himself, who claims to be there to fulfill the same three-year contract Sam started all those years ago.
The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3
Denzel Washington, John Travolta, and director Tony Scott kind of make this movie something to check out in theaters this weekend. Although I have my doubts as to how good it will be. I guess I’ll find out.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 Synopsis: Armed men hijack a New York subway train in demand of a hefty ransom. As the authorities try to negotiate with the hostage takers they wonder how the hijackers plan to get away.
DEFINITELY WATCH ON TV
Imagine That
This just doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe if it airs on TV, I might take a look at it, but I don’t think it’s worth watching at the movies.

Imagine That Synopsis: In Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ family comedy Imagine That, Eddie Murphy stars as a successful financial executive who has more time for his blackberry than his seven-year-old daughter (Yara Shahidi). When he has a crisis of confidence and his career starts going down the drain, however, he finds the solution to all his problems in his daughter’s imaginary world.
