Bryce Dallas Howard to Replace Rachelle Lefevre in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

Summit Entertainment announced that they would be replacing Rachelle Lefevre, who plays Victoria, in the third movie of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, by none other than Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator Salvation, Spider-Man 3, The Village).

This is apparently due to a 10 days scheduling conflict, although Rachelle Lefevre and Summit have both released statement that seem a little contradictory. It honestly looks like Summit wanted to change the actress portraying Victoria, for whatever reason.

I personally am kind of excited about this news because Bryce Dallas Howard is one of my favorite actresses, so I’m behind whatever she does (although I have nothing against Rachelle Lefevre). I am now even more excited for the third movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which comes out on June 30, 2010, and I honestly think that Bryce Dallas Howard will surprise more than a few by her performance.

So congratulations to Bryce Dallas Howard, and good luck to Rachelle Lefevre on whatever projects she does next.
