AVATAR Movie Poster

Check out a couple of posters for James Cameron’s AVATAR starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, and directed by James Cameron.

I’ve already talked about how excited I am about Avatar, and how much I loved the 24 minutes of footage shown at Comic Con (read the details of the panel here), so I won’t repeat myself. But I definitely thought it was worth sharing the two posters from Avatar that have been released.

On the first one, we see Sam Worthington’s character, Jake Sully as his Na’vi avatar, and the second one is Zoe Saldana as Neytiri a Na’vi. If you look closely, you definitely recognize their faces and it gives you an idea of what they look like in the movie.

Avatar will be released to theaters on December 18, 2009, but remember that August 21 is “Avatar Day” and your chance to go and see 15 minutes of Avatar at in IMAX and select 3-D theaters (the trailer will also be released online).
