James Cameron’s AVATAR First Picture with Sam Worthington
Check out the first official picture from James Cameron’s AVATAR featuring Sam Worthington that /Film got their hands on.
Avatar takes place on another planet, Pandora, where humans are trying to learn more about the natives, Na’vi. In order to do that, they create avatars out of human and Na’vi DNA. The human’s consciousness is then sent to the avatar, which looks like a Na’vi.
In the picture you can see Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, a paraplegic war veteran, sitting in front of what will become his Na’vi avatar.
We all know that I’ve been looking forward to Avatar ever since Comic Con, and now you guys get your first look at what the avatars look like. But trust me, they look even better in action.
