Take a first look at the pictures from FAME starring Debbie Allen, Charles S. Dutton, Kelsey Grammer, Asher Book, Kristy Flores, Paul Iacono, Paul McGill, Naturi Naughton, Kay Panabaker, Kherington Payne, Collins Pennie, Walter Perez, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and directed by Kevin Tancharoen.Fame will be released to theaters on September 25, 2009.

Although this is typically not my cup of tea, this reboot of the famed TV series looks really promising. I think that I might make an exception for this one.

Fame Synopsis: Inspired by the 1980 film, ‘Fame’ follows an exceptional group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts. They have practiced and prepared since childhood to prove they’re the best of their generation, and in this incredibly competitive atmosphere their passion will be put to the test. Complicating a demanding rehearsal schedule are homework, midterms, and all the social drama of high school, with each student’s dream of recognition from their peers and a chance at stardom on the line. As they each strive for their moment in the spotlight, they’ll discover who among them has the innate talent and necessary discipline to succeed.
