THE A-TEAM Movie Trailer (2010)

Americ Ngwije

Americ's movie watching experience has to be entertaining, so mostly anything with explosions will do, and having Jason Statham in them is always a plus. Then there are the odd men out aka "Meet Joe Black" and "In the Land of Women," go figure…

this just ain’t right. looks cheesy as hell. i think mostly due to the casting. they got BA right, but everyone else is just wrong. if they weren’t so meticulously imitating the original characters, neeson and others could work without cheese. i would actually want the characters to be just like the originals, but this cast is just not right (except for BA).

I understand where you are coming from Adam the trailer does pack a lot of chesse in but it is too hard to judge based on such short clips, I think the cast will pull it off.

I would have loved the cast to be Woody Harrelson as Murdoch, Rob Lowe/Greg Kinnear (they are supposed to be veterans) as Face, Ice Cube as B.A (may sound too obvious but he could definately pull of the expressions) and for Hannibal I thought Dennis Quaid.

However I think Neeson should never be underestimate and I am growing quite fond of Bradley Cooper (in a completely heterosexual way lol), as for Copey and Rampage, based on these clips Rampage fits the bill and Copeys line about the wing on fire sounded just like Schultz.

It will never be as good as the series but if it comes close it will be awesome. I’m just so happy its finally on the way. Next I want Airwolf!!

Just proves. . .you can’t mess with a true original. i mean, these peoople’s lives were as personal as TV gets. Then to move them to Iraq? Jst for the currency of it. Even the current conflict isn’t as stamped on the culture as these 4 guys were? One wrong gesture by any of these ‘newbs’ and there goes the public perception and the box office. Sorry, let’s just put a 2-hour retrospective documentary together. Works for me.

Upon reflection, I also need to say that, just from the video, I think the whole movie is going to take itself much too seriously. It’s much darker, less irreverent than the series. Where’s the fun and games, the making friends with and the shaking off of common, everyday little quirks that mark these guys as everymen with an arsenal? In the original series, no one ever died in ‘battle’. I can’t see that hallmark surviving to emerge from the mist of this movie.

I completely agree….I would have loved to see woody as Murdock and Lowe as Face!! This trailer is too all over the place for me to gague just how cheesy the movie will be, but NO ONE and i mean NO ONE can even come close to replacing the original Hanibal.

It would have been cool if maybe Mr T and the original Howlin mad could have been in the movie…even Greggory Peck would have been better by the looks of it….

Really, it looks just as cheesy as the original show. Come on, the original was chessy anyway. Have you seen the original on TV lately, there are some channels that are showing reruns of it and WOW it was chessy….besides Jessica Biel and her great body are in this one, hell that gives it a couple stars just for that.

I’m not sure about Rampage, I guess nobody can ever truly fill Mr. T’s shoes.
