Thanks to Collider for putting up the photos (you can also check out some more over there), we get a closer look at Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie. I am really curious to see Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning’s performance in this, it could very possibly end up being breakthrough roles for both of them with some Awards talk, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
The Runaways Synopsis: In 1970s LA, a tough teenager named Joan Jett connects with an eccentric producer to form an all-girl band that would launch her career and make rock history.
The Runaways will premiere this next week at the Sundance Film Festival and will be released to theaters on March 19, 2010. Watch the clip and check out more photos below.
