Pixar’s Short DAY & NIGHT First Look
Check out the first photo for Pixar’s new short DAY & NIGHT, that ComingSoon got their hands on. Day & Night is directed by Teddy Newton and will play in front of Toy Story 3 in theaters on June 18, 2010.
This looks like this could be a 2-D short, and not the 3-D Pixar shorts we are used to. I personally don’t care, as long as the story is as good and sweet as the previous Pixar shorts, it’s going to be great. Plus how adorable are the two main characters we see on the photo?!
Day & Night Synopsis: When Day, a sunny fellow, encounters Night, a stranger of distinctly darker moods, sparks fly! Day and Night are frightened and suspicious of each other at first, and quickly get off on the wrong foot. But as they discover each other’s unique qualities–and come to realize that each of them offers a different window onto the same world–the friendship helps both to gain a new perspective.
