TOUCHING HOME Movie Trailer, Clip, and Photos with Ed Harris

Check out the trailer for TOUCHING HOME which Ed Harris, Brad Dourif, Robert Forster, Logan Miller, Noah Miller, and directed by Logan Miller and Noah Miller.
I recently found out about this film and thought the story behind it was pretty great. The movie is based on the director’s Logan and Noah Miller’s father, who spent his last years as a homeless and died alone in jail. If you’re interested in learning more you should definitely check out the website for the brother Millers’ upcoming book release, “Either You’re In Or You’re In The Way,” which talks about their experience making the film.
As for the trailer, this is definitely my type of movie and since I am a fan of Ed Harris, it’s definitely a movie that I’ll want to check out.
Touching Home Synopsis: When the Millers’ homeless father died alone in a jail cell, the twins vowed that their autobiographical film, Touching Home, would be made as a dedication to their love for him. Three months after their father’s death, the Miller brothers cornered four—time Academy Award—nominee Ed Harris in a San Francisco alley and asked him to play the role of their father in Touching Home. Ed Harris said “yes”, and the miracle that would become Touching Home, became a reality. Without a dime to their names, nor a single meaningful contact in Hollywood, Logan and Noah Miller managed to write, produce, and direct a feature film with a cast and crew that has 11 Academy Awards and 26 nominations. Touching Home, directed, written, produced and starring Logan and Noah Miller, is the true story about a father struggling to make amends with his twin sons as they pursue their dreams of professional baseball.
Touching Home will be released to theaters on May 1, 2010. Watch the trailer and clip, and check out more photos below.
