Movie Love Triangle: Kevin Bacon, Julianne Moore & Steve Carell

An untitled Warner Bros. film with Dan Fogelman and Steve Carell at the helm brings on its newest cast member – Golden Globe winner Kevin Bacon. The film, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is led by directing duo John Requa and and Glenn Ficarra, and centers around Steve Carell’s character who is desperately trying to save his tumultuous relationship with his wife, played by Julianne Moore.
Bacon will bring his acting prowess to the film in order to portray a co-worker of Carell’s wife whose dashing good looks and personality spark an affair. Bacon is not the only big Hollywood name to sign onto this film–with a cast rounded out by Ryan Gosling (The Notebook) and Emma Stone (Zombieland).
Though Kevin Bacon is well known for his recent roles in more serious films such as “Mystic River”, he is no stranger to comedy. In 1978, Bacon began his film acting career as Chip Diller in the National Lampoon comedy classic “Animal House”. The movie begins shooting later this month, and is certain to add a new list of names into the arsenal of every Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon participant.
