Carla Bruni Sarkozy, wife of French President and former supermodel, is about to perform in one of Woody Allen’s film. Last year, Woody Allen had acknowledged his plan to include Bruni Sarkozy as soon as he finds a suitable role. Now, Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the first lady will act in a Hollywood film, also starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and famous French actor Marion Cotillard.

Before her acting career and romantic relationship with French President, Ms. Sarkozy was a singer and songwriter. She had released a string of popular French albums. It seems that Bruni Sarkozy is destined to be in the news as a documentary about her is scheduled to air very soon.

It will definitely be one of her major stints. Although, the title of the film and Bruni Sarkozy’s role is not made public but Woody Allen has assured that it will be announced sometimes, next week. For now, people will be left wondering, why is America’s most prolific film director so intent on introducing Ms. Sarkozy?
