Rupert Grint Was Nervous About CHERRYBOMB Sex Scene
According to MTV News, Rupert Grint admitted he was nervous about doing his first sex scene in the movie CHERRYBOMB.
Grint, who plays the redheaded wizard Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, plays a grittier role in Cherrybomb. Set in Belfast, Northern Ireland Grint’s role is that of a fifteen-year old who works in the Titanic Leisureplex. He falls for the manager’s daughter and competes with his friend for the girl’s affection.
The movie includes drugs, alcohol, and a sex scene between Grint and co-star Kimberley Nixon. Grint has described the scene as tastefully done but agonizing. After doing this movie, Grint feels it will be easier to do this type of scene again. Another difficult part was watching the movie, including the scene with his parents.
Grint appears ready to leave the world of Harry Potter behind and take on more mature roles.
