Seth Rogen’s THE GREEN HORNET Goes 3D

The often-delayed Seth Rogen picture “The Green Hornet” has had its release date pushed back yet again, though this time fans might think the wait is worthwhile.
The Hollywood Reporter recently reported Sony announced recently “The Green Hornet” will have all of its visual effects shot in 3D. In order to get this extra work done, the release date for the movie has been moved back to Jan. 14. It was set to be released Dec. 22, although the picture’s showing date has been delayed four other times.
This move will also impact another long-awaited Sony comic book movie adapted to film, “Priest.” That movie was set to be released in the date now occupied by “The Green Hornet,” so “Priest” has been moved to March 4.
“The Green Hornet” director Michel Gondry has said he always envisioned the movie in 3D, so it was shot with that in mind.
