Kevin James’ ZOOKEEPER Stays in The Pen Until Summer 2011

Sony has moved the upcoming comedy “Zookeeper”, starring Kevin James, all the way into the summer of next year.
Sony had previously slated October 2010 as the opening date for “Zookeeper”. Entertainment Weekly has now confirmed that Sony took over the rights to “Zookeeper” last month, from its co-producer.
After starring in “King of Queens” and “Mall Cop”, Kevin James is bringing us “Zookeeper”, which opens July 8th, 2011. Since they have recently taken over the rights to “Zookeeper”, Sony just does not have time to get it on this summers list. With such voices as Cher, Nick Bakay, Donnie Wahlberg, Adam Sandler, and Sylvester Stallone, there is a lot of potential for box office success.
“Zookeeper” is produced by Todd Garner, James and Jeff Sussman, and Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions.
