New Batman Movie Is Coming in 2012

A release date has officially been set by Warner Bros. for the sequel to the blockbuster Batman film “Dark Knight.” The third film in the “Batman Begins” series is expected to hit theaters on July 20, 2012.
Christopher Nolan, director of the first two movies in the series, has confirmed his own involvement in the “Dark Knight” sequel, in an interview with the L.A. Times, despite rumors to the contrary. Nolan also admitted that he expected the third Batman movie to be the last one for him. He is currently in post-production on “Inception.”
Christian Bale, the actor in the title role for both “Batman Begins” and “Dark Knight,” is expected to return as well. Nolan is close-mouthed about the villain of the story, but at a recent comic convention, actor Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon in the “Dark Knight”) hinted that it might be the Riddler.
