Joseph Gordon-Levitt Has Two Action Movies Lined Up

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, star of “(500) Days of Summer” and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, may be adding to his action resume with leading roles in two upcoming thrillers he is in negotiation for, according to The Heat Vision Blog.
The first movie is titled “Premium Rush” and will feature Gordon-Levitt as a bike messenger in New York City assigned to transport a valuable envelope and must outrun a corrupt cop who will stop at nothing to get a hold of it. “Rush” is written by “Angels & Demons” screenwriter David Koepp, who is also slated to direct.
Gordon-Levitt reteams with “Brick” writer/director Rian Johnson for “Looper”, a futuristic action thriller about assassins sent back in time to exterminate criminals. Gordon-Levitt will play the role of a hitman traveling through time to kill himself.
The next film that Gordon-Levitt will be appearing in is the science fiction thriller “Inception”, written and directed by Christopher Nolan and also starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page. It will premiere nationwide on July 16.
