Patrick Dempsey Cast in TRANSFORMERS 3

According to Entertainment Weekly, Paramount Pictures has confirmed that Patrick Dempsey is the latest actor to be signed on for the upcoming TRANSFORMERS 3 movie. Although the plot line has been kept very quiet, it is known that Dempsey’s role will be central to the storyline, and he will be playing the boss to Megan Fox’s character.
Unlike previous reports, it has been verified today that actor Jamie Kennedy has not been signed for the project. Kennedy was previously speculated to be attached to Transformers 3 after a radio interview he gave in Arizona stating he was a huge fan of the franchise.
Patrick Dempsey is currently the star of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and was last seen on the big screen in Maid of Honor. Transformers 3, which is scheduled to release in July 2011, is set to begin filming later this month in the United States, Africa, Moscow and China.
