FRIGHT NIGHT Remake Gets Colin Farrell and Toni Collette

Colin Farrell and Toni Collette will be joining the cast in the remake of “Fright Night“, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The remake of the moving is being produced by DreamWorks.
Farrell and Collette join Anton Yelchin in the remake of the 1985 film which had the same title. Collette is set to play the role of a mom who falls for a vampire, who will be played by Farrell. Yelchin has already been cast to play the role of a teen who is convinced that his new neighbor, Farrell in this case, is a vampire but cannot convince anyone else of the truth.
Farrell’s appearance in this film will be his first with a big production company since two disappointing outings in “Pride and Glory” (2008) and “Miami Vice” (2006). Farrell has recently appeared in indie films, even earning a Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of an assassin in “In Bruges”. Collette is also well known for her Emmy winning role in the Showtime series “United States of Tara”.
