Wild Grass Synopsis: Based on a novel by French writer Christian Gailly, WILD GRASS is the whimsical, romantic and wildly imaginative tale of two strangers, Marguerite and Georges (played by Resnais regulars Sabine Azéma and André Dussollier) whose paths meet when George finds Marguerite’s wallet after her purse was snatched. George is shaken out of his unadventurous existence by this discovery and he starts developing an obsessive infatuation with a woman he has only seen through her photo IDs. How will Marguerite, a single dentist with a shock of red hair and a passion for aviation – she holds a pilot’s license – respond to George’s increasingly frantic attempts at making a connection with her?
