TWILIGHT BREAKING DAWN Salary Negotations Ongoing
The secondary characters from the “Twilight” movie series are still in salary negotiations with Summit Entertainment, reports The Hollywood Reporter Blog. Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) and Kellan Lutz (Emmet Cullen) are holding out for a bigger piece of the pie. Since the plan is to break up “Breaking Dawn” into two separate movies, negotiations are for the two movies. Rumor is that they are asking for salaries as high as four million dollars for both movies.
This type of salary negotiation when dealing with secondary characters is a tightrope walk. If you remember, Rachelle Lefevre played Victoria in “Twilight” and “New Moon” but when her salary negotiations fell through, she was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in “Eclipse”. Fans didn’t seem to mind the switch.
It is also reported that the Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are close to finalizing their deals with Summit for the “Breaking Dawn” films. Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie (Emmet Cullen’s wife) has settled her contract and will receive $750,000 to $1,000,000 for each movie.
