Keanu Reeves To Star in PASSENGERS

The production company Morgan Creek has secured some International licensing for its upcoming film “Passengers” starring Keanu Reeves. The film, directed by Gabriele Muccino will be distributed by Universal in the U.S.
According to THR, “Passengers” is a science fiction film starring Keanu Reeves as Jim Preston. Preston is a passenger on a 120-year spaceship journey, but he wakes prematurely. He finds himself alone on the ship with only robots to communicate with, so he decides to wake another one of the passengers for company. Everything is going along fine, until they realize that something is wrong with the ship.
Jon Spaihts is credited with creating the original “Passengers” script, which is still being tweaked. The movie is scheduled to begin filming in January, but the location has not been finalized.
