Donald Sutherland and Brendan Gleeson Cast THE MCLEAN BOYS

Donald Sutherland and Brendan Gleeson have been cast to star in the upcoming movie “The McLean Boys“, according to THR.
Directed by Charles Martin Smith and produced by Nick Orchard and Ian Weir, the movie is a true story out of Canada. It tells the tale of three brothers who are on the run from a posse and come close to causing a Shuswap native uprising. Weir is also credited with writing the screenplay.
Sutherland will play the McLean boys’ father, while Gleeson is the justice of the peace in charge of catching the boys. The McLean boys’ roles have not been cast.
Donald Sutherland most recently starred in the movie “The Con Artist“. It was released in February of 2010. He is currently filming “The Mechanic” which is slated for release in December of this year.
Brendan Gleeson will once again play Mad-Eye Moody in the Harry Potter series. He also stars in “The Guard” scheduled for release sometime in 2011.
