Dustin Hoffman to Star in NIGHTHAWK

Dustin Hoffman will be starring in a movie based on Irwin Shaw’s novel “Nighthawk”, according to THR. The actor brought the project to the attention of Ealing Studios, a British production company that is currently experiencing a fresh new start. The novel tells the story of a hotel security guard who happens upon a dead woman and $100,000 in cash.
Ealing Studios has a number of upcoming films in their line-up, including “What the Puck”. It’s the story of a boy with the disability, dyspraxia and how ice hockey helps him with his condition. Dyspraxia is the inability to perform coordinated moves.
Hoffman has been very busy in Cannes having just signed on with Sir Anthony Hopkins to star in “The Song of Names”.
