THE SONG OF NAMES Casts Anthony Hopkins & Dustin Hoffman

Award winning actors Dustin Hoffman and Sir Anthony Hopkins will pair up to star in the upcoming movie “The Song of Names”, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie based on the novel with the same title written by Norman Lebrecht will be produced by Feel Films’ Nick Hirschkorn, Egoli Tossell’s Jens Meurer and Foundation Features’ Dave Valleau.
“The Song of Names” is the story of two boys who become friends during World War II and their reunion as adults. The movie dives a bit into the Holocaust, music and betrayal. The movie will be directed by Vadim Perelman.
Anthony Hopkins is staying busy. Just a few days ago, it was reported that he is about to sign a deal to play the evil sorcerer in “Arabian Nights”. Not to be outdone, Dustin Hoffman has three movies in post-production, “Luck”, “Meet the Fockers Sequel” and “Barney’s Version”. He also is currently recording voice for Shifu in the new “Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom” due out in 2011.
