Megan Fox Out; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in for TRANSFORMERS 3

Victoria Secret super model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will replace Megan Fox in the upcoming “Transformers 3” movie. She will play the female lead alongside star Shia LaBeouf when shooting for the movie begins in two weeks time. ‘Transformers 3′ is slated for release in July 2011.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was one of three women who were reportedly considered for the role, according to MTV Movie News quoting a report from Deadline Hollywood. The other two in the running for female lead in `Transformers 3′ were Brooklyn Decker, a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model and Sarah Wright a former fashion model. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the only one among the three not to have had any formal acting experience previously.
News of Huntington-Whiteley’s selection for Transformers 3 comes just days after Megan Fox was dropped from the movie by Paramount. The studio refused to renew Fox’s contractual option for the movie reportedly because of her differences with director Michael Bay. Fox last year summer argued heatedly with Bay and compared him to Hitler soon after the release of `Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” prompting the director to call her immature in return.
