NURSE.FIGHTER.BOY Coming To a US screen Near You
Film Movement, a New York based film distributor, has nabbed the U.S. rights to the movie “Nurse.Fighter.Boy” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Charles Officer film is an urban romance film from the Canadian Film Center and Norman Jewison.
The film about a single mother, her young son, and an aging boxer stars Clark Johnson and Karen LeBlanc. The film was screened at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival and will hit the US in 2010. Johnson and LeBlanc star alongside Daniel J. Gordon, Walter Borden, and David Collins in the film.
Film Movement president Adley Gartenstein and Justine Whyte, executive producer and director of CFC Features made the announcement about the U.S. sale of “Nurse.Fighter.Boy”. The movie will appear on video on demand services in the U.S. starting this summer and will be released on DVD in the fall. The romance film was nominated for 10 Genies and won the Audience Prize and Jury Prize for Best Feature Film at the Mannheim Heidelberg festival.
