The Molyneux Sisters Double Tasked With “UNCOOL” And “BURGERS”

Famous writing duo Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux have been tasked with reworking two projects in the coming months. According to the Hollywood Reporter Blog, the sisters have been hired by Paramount Pictures to rework the screenplay for the comedy “The Day I Turned Uncool” as well as the Fox animated series “Bob’s Burgers”.
Paramount is in charge of the “Uncool” project which is an adaptation of the comic memoir of Dan Zevin “The Day I Turned Uncool: Confessions of a Reluctant Grown-Up”. Kevin Misher has been working on the production of the project since 2005. Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive developed the animated series “Bob’s Burgers” for Fox. The half-hour show will be about a family running a struggling East Coast burger joint. The series is slated to join Fox’s animation domination on Sunday night’s beginning in the fall of 2011.
The sisters’ most famous project was the original screenplay for “My Sister Is Marrying a Douchebag” which made the Black List as one of the most liked screenplays in 2009.
