Bradley Cooper To Play A Baseball Player In Upcoming Movie
Bradley Cooper is attached to star in a baseball dramedy film that Disney has acquired from the scribe behind “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” Allan Loeb, who developed the project, will produce the film along with his partner Steven Pearl and Andrew Panay.
The film centers on a baseball star who is forced into the minors for recovery after a serious injury. While in the minors, the only lodging the star can find is in a senior citizens’ home. During his stay in the senior citizens’ home, the star encounters a baseball guru who helps lead him on his path back to the big time. Cooper will star as the injured baseball player on the road to recovery.
Loeb has written the script for several big projects lately, thanks in large part to the success he experienced with “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” Loeb wrote the script for several upcoming projects including Ron Howard’s “Cheaters,” “Escape From New York,” and “The Switch” starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Cooper can currently be seen on the big screen in “The A-Team.”
