M. Night Shyamalan’s New Movie is Still A Secret
With his big budget film “The Last Airbender” not even in theaters yet, director M. Night Shyamalan is quietly shopping a new script around to studios with a star filled cast. Details of the new script are unknown at this point but big stars Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Bruce Willis are loosely attached to the project.
Shyamalan is well known in Hollywood for his secrecy. The only people who have read the new script are top executives at several studios, under the supervision of Shyamalan assistants who take the script with them after it has been read. Despite lackluster performances from Shyamalan productions at the box office in recent years, the stars already attached to this project show that Shyamalan can still attract top talent.
Paramount Pictures is giving “The Last Airbender” the full media blitz ahead of its July 1 release. “Airbender” is Shyamalan’s first project that he did not develop himself and is also his first special effects-driven film.
