Fred Ward Joins Jesse Eisenberg & Aziz Ansari in 30 MINUTES OR LESS
Actor Fred Ward has been cast in the upcoming Columbia Pictures thriller “30 Minutes or Less.” Ruben Fleischer, who directed the surprise hit “Zombieland,” will direct the action comedy that already has the majority of the cast set in place.
The film follows the story of a high school teacher and pizza delivery guy who are forced to rob a bank by a pair of criminals. One of the pair is strapped into a vest packed with explosives to ensure the two go through with the robbery. Ward joins a cast that already includes Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, Michael Pena, Nick Swardson and Aziz Ansari. Ward will play the role of the father of McBride’s character in the film. Filming is scheduled to begin in late July in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Ward’s most recent work includes a role in the feature film “Heist” and the Showtime series “United States of Tara.”
