Amanda Seyfried Stays Young Forever in “I’m.mortal”
Actress Amanda Seyfried has signed on to star in the upcoming sci-fi thriller “I’m.mortal” from Andrew Niccol. Niccol was behind such films as “Gattaca” and “The Truman Show.”
“I’m.mortal” takes place in a world where people stop aging at 25 years old. Seyfried will play the role of a beautiful rich girl who finds herself kidnapped by a rebellious man who is accused of murdering one of society’s elite members. While on the run from the law with Seyfried in tow, the two fall in love and end up challenging the system the guides their society. Niccol’s last film was the 2005 movie “Lord of War” starring Nicolas Cage.
Seyfried has steady work with a recurring role on the HBO series “Big Love.” She has already graced the big screen twice in 2010 with the films “Dear John” and “Letters to Juliet.” Her next feature film role will be as the star of the 2011 fairy tale “Red Riding Hood.”
