Alison Brie From NBC’s Community Cast in SCREAM 4

Actress Alison Brie has signed on to the cast of the “Scream” franchise’s reboot, “Scream 4.” Brie will join an already star studded young cast set to take center stage on the killing fields of the franchise reboot. Wes Craven, who directed the first three, is returning to direct the new film.
Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, and Erik Knudsen have already joined the cast with “Scream” veterans Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox also returning. Brie will play the role of Campbell’s personal assistant who is jealous of her fame and fortune; fame and fortune which Campbell is understandingly reluctant to posses. Kevin Williamson, who penned the first two films in the series, returned to write the script for the reboot. The original films hit theaters in 1996, 1997, and 2000, respectively.
Brie’s previous work includes a regular role on the NBC series “Community” and a recurring role on the AMC series “Mad Men.”
