Christian Bale To Star in Zach Snyder’s THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH

Batman star Christian Bale has been linked with a starring role in the upcoming film from Zach Snyder entitled “The Last Photograph.” The film is an original idea from Snyder who developed “300” and he has again teamed up with “300” writer Kurt Johnstad.
The project has been in the works for over a year now with the first word on casting being leaked in March 2009. The film appears to be back on track and if Bale joins the pick it will have solid star power. The movie reportedly follows the story of two men who embark on a quest through war torn Afghanistan after a picture peaks their interest. In addition to Bale possibly joining the cast of the project, two impressive directors are rumored to be attached. Russian director Sergey Bodrov and director Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) are rumored to be in the running with Oplev considered the front runner.
Bale has not appeared on the big screen since last year’s lackluster “Public Enemies” starring Johnny Depp. He recently filming on “The Fighter” and will soon begin shooting for the much anticipated “Batman 3” project.
