Nicholas Hoult is Beast & Caleb Landry Jones is Banshee in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS
Actors Nicholas Hoult and Caleb Landry Jones have joined the cast of 20th Century Fox’s X-Men reboot, “X-Men: First Class.” The Matthew Vaughn directed film is closing in on a production start date, though no specific date is known.
Hoult and Jones join a cast that already includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Alice Eve. The reboot of the X-Men franchise will follow the group of mutant superheroes through their younger days. McAvoy will play Professor Xavier, with Fassbender playing the villain Magneto and Eve playing Emma Frost. Hoult joins the cast as Beast and Jones will play the role of Banshee.
Hoult burst onto the big screen alongside Hugh Grant in “About a Boy,” and has gone on to appear in films such as “A Single Man” and “Clash of the Titans.” Jones has appeared in “No Country for Old Men” and “Friday Night Lights,” and will next be seen in “The Social Network.”
