Batman 3 To Start Filming in April

With the recent news that the as of yet untitled third installment in the “Batman” franchise will hit theaters July 2012, the question now is when will the project begin filming. Actor Michael Caine may have the answer everyone is looking for, stating recently that he expects filming to begin in April.
Director Christopher Nolan confirmed last week that the third film would hit theaters in July 2012, but it was Caine that commented during a red carpet interview at the premier of Nolan’s “Inception” that the cast of “Batman 3” could be in front of cameras by April 2011. Caine isn’t the best of sources however having previously started the rumor that Johnny Depp and Philip Seymour Hoffman would appear in the third film as the Riddler and The Penguin respectively.
Whether or not Caine knows the truth remains to be seen. It is unknown at this point if he will return for the third film as Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s loyal friend and servant. Previous rumors have pegged the start of production as March, so Caine might be on point this time.
