Escher Holloway & Sarah Habel Cast in A NEW YORK HEARTBEAT
The upcoming indie crime drama “A New York Heartbeat” has added two actors to its cast in starring roles. Escher Holloway and Sarah Habel have signed on to star in the picture which was created by filmmaker Tjardus Greidanus.
The film is set in New York in 1957 and follows a young gang leader named Spider, who will be played by Holloway, as he crosses the wrong mob boss. After crashing the next of a notorious mob leader and stealing a suitcase full of money, Spider is beaten and left for dead. Tamara, played by Habel, takes him in and hides him from the mob along with her sick uncle who just happens to be a major mob figure in exile.
In addition to an appearance in the film “When a Stranger Calls,” Holloway has roles in the upcoming features “The Secret Lives of Dorks” and “Getting That Girl.” Habel’s most recent work includes appearances on television in “CSI: NY,” “Cold Case,” and “Party Down.”
