Mark Wahlberg May Become THE RAVEN

The well hyped short film “The Raven” has been picked up by a major studio for a feature film adaptation. The short film was developed by Latino filmmaker Ricardo de Montreuil and was shot on a budget of just $5000.
The story follows a man named Chris Black who is being sought out by the agents of the current regime who wish to destroy him before the powers he possess bring them down. Black is forced to run for his life through a futuristic Los Angeles. The short film was shot over a two-day weekend and star Victor Lopez performed all his own stunts during filming.
The short film has been picked up by Universal and actor Mark Wahlberg is in talks to star in the feature length version of the film. Montreuil will direct the film with Justin Sparks writing the script. Warner Bros. had been in the running for the film until Wahlberg got involved, bringing the picture to Universal.
