Wentworth Miller is a Screenwriter and He’s Apparently Good
Actor Wentworth Miller just might make a bigger name for himself as a writer with two scripts currently in play with the possibility of Fox Searchlight purchasing both films. Miller, who wrote both under the pseudonym Ted Foulke, wrote the script for ‘Stoker’ and ‘Uncle Charlie.’
The two films are attached to one another through storylines with ‘Uncle Charlie’ serving as a prequel to the plot of ‘Stoker.’ Carey Mulligan and Jodie Foster are attached to star in ‘Stoker’ which tells the story of a young girl whose oddball, estranged uncle returns to her life after the death of her father. ‘Uncle Charlie’ tells the history of the family which is prone for burying their secrets along with bodies.
There are reports that Fox Searchlight is not the only studio interested in the projects, but wherever the films go they are likely to land together as the story and characters overlap. Miller just finished with the filming of ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife.’
