Andy Tennant To Direct Katherine Heigl in ‘Adaline’

Director Andy Tennant has been hired to the fantasy romance film ‘Adaline.’ Tennant will direct the film for Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment which are co-producing the film.
The film tells the story of a young and beautiful woman who must watch everyone around her age over the course of 100 years as she remains untouched by the ravages of time. Eventually the woman meets a man who is willing to risk it all in pursuit of helping her regain her mortality. Katherine Heigl is set to star in the film as well as holding a role as executive producer on the project. Production is expected to begin sometime in early 2011.
Tennant”s last directing gig came on the set of ‘The Bounty Hunter’ in which Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston starred. Heigl most recently appeared alongside Ashton Kutcher in ‘Killers,’ and will next star in ‘Life As We Know It’ with Josh Duhamel.
